This 1-hour Vinyasa Flow is a beautiful way to incorporate some movement into your day. This class is great for all levels of experience, even expecting mommas, like myself! We will work at opening both the front and side body, while exploring some fun balancing postures. This class can be done with or without the use of props. If you have them on hand go ahead and grab a strap and/or block to help you explore and make some postures more easily accessible. As always, just have fun and enjoy this time you have chosen for yourself.

Welcome to a 50-minute watery flow. We will be moving dynamically and fluidly all around the mat in this practice. Follow my voice, move with your breath, and if you get lost at any point, just pause and take a breath. Be kind & gentle with yourself and enjoy the journey. As the name suggests, this practice is a blend of Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga. This is a great option for beginners looking to progress, as well as intermediate students looking to slow down. We’ll start with a few long holding Yin shapes, then we’ll work into a juicy, dynamic flow. Finally, we’ll slow back down with a gentle flow that leads back to long Yin shapes once more. We’ll work into a peak posture through the entire sequence, so please feel free to send in your requests! It’s usually best to show up with two blocks and a bolster for the longer holding Yin shapes. If you don’t have either, then pillows can replace the bolster & a stack of books can replace the blocks. This class will focus on inviting our mind and entire body into a place of relaxation. We will begin with long held Yin poses to begin opening the body and finish with some delicious Restorative poses allowing our bodies to fully let go. To complete this class we will enjoy a Yoga Nidra to fully connect to our bodies and drop into a state of complete relaxation. In this class we will focus on cultivating a dance between our breath and our movement. Yin Yoga is a great practice for creating more space in the body and the mind. We will spend at least 2 minutes in each pose to target the connective tissue and calm down the nervous system. In this class we will focus primarily on the hips, inner & outer thighs as well as releasing tension in the lower back.
