I'm the founder of Drift Yoga, a guide in movement and stillness, a Thai Fusion massage practitioner, and a mother of two beautiful girls. Originally from Ontario, I'm now deeply rooted in the mountain town of Kimberley, BC, where I've created Drift Yoga as both a studio and a sanctuary. I'm a E-RYT 500 yoga instructor with a passion for presence, softness, and practices that reconnect us with ourselves. Whether I'm guiding movement, holding space for stillness, or simply pouring tea after class, I'm here to offer something real. A place where you can land, breathe, and feel deeply held.

My why
THE HEART BEHIND DRIFT YOGA

​I came to yoga at a time in my life when I felt deeply lost. Uncertain of who I was, where I was going, or how to meet the moment I was in. I wasn't looking for answers, but when I found the practice, something within me softened. It felt as though the practice offered me a quiet doorway back to a part of myself I had forgotten, or maybe never truly met. The physical practice grounded me. The philosophy opened me. And the stillness held me in a way that felt both unfamiliar and deeply true.

My journey began in the first studio I practiced in. As I moved from student to teacher, a seed was planted - a quiet vision of creating a space that felt like home, where others could land gently, feel held, and return to themselves. A space you could come to in any season of your life and feel welcomed, supported, and held. A home away from home. I wanted Drift Yoga to be more than a place to move - I wanted it to be a place to be.

My approach to guiding is simple: come as you are. This is a practice that meets you in your humanness - no performance, no pressure, no perfect shape. My classes offer a blend of softness and strength, with gentle encouragement to meet your edges and listen inward. I believe in creating an atmosphere thats welcoming and warm, where you're invited to honour your own rhythm and explore your practice in a way that feels true to you. Every day on the mat is different. We welcome you to arrive exactly as you are - beautifully, authentically you.
MY TEACHING STYLE
My classes are intentionally woven together and designed with care to support the body, mind and soul. I draw from the rhythm of the seasons, elemental balance, and energy lines of the body to create movement that feels purposeful and complete.

Each class caries a natural arc: warming and opening, exploring depth, then softening into stillness. Within that framework, I adapt to the people in the room; some days encouraging more strength and vitality, other days offering gentleness and ease.

This balance of structure and intuition means no two classes are ever exactly the same, yet every practice is guided by the same intention: to leave you feeling clear, grounded, and more connected to yourself.
